1. Set up Fairway Goose
- Create a free account (or sign in if you already have one).
- On Profile, create a bag and add your clubs with the yardages you actually play. That data is what Claude will read through MCP.
- Optional: log rounds on Rounds so your assistant can reference real scorecards and notes.
2. Connect Claude (remote MCP)
Fairway Goose is a remote MCP server. Claude talks to it from Anthropic's infrastructure, not from a JSON file on your laptop. Their Help Center walks through security, network requirements, and the exact UI — start here:

Quick steps (Pro / Max — see Anthropic for Team / Enterprise)
- Open Customize → Connectors.
- Click
+, thenAdd custom connector. - Paste this remote MCP server URL:
- Open Advanced settings. Paste the OAuth Client ID from your Profile (only visible when you're signed in — like a routing number at a bank). Leave OAuth Client Secret empty — we use a public OAuth client.
- Finish with Add. In a chat, use the
+menu → Connectors to turn Fairway Goose on for that conversation, then sign in when Claude sends you to the browser.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to register the connector under organization settings before members can connect. Free Claude plans may be limited to one custom connector — see Anthropic's article for current limits.
USING FAIRWAY GOOSE
Once Claude is connected, ask natural questions. Answers line up with the clubs and rounds you store in Fairway Goose.
